SEEN (Siblings Ensure Encourage Nuture) Workbook
SEEN is a branch within ABLE Ministry, dedicated to the siblings of those with disabilities. Disability affects not only the individual but also the family unit in various ways. “The Glass Child” is the term for siblings of individuals with disabilities or chronic illness. Siblings may feel invisible as their needs are not seen and/or met by the parents due to a majority of the focus being placed on the sibling with a disability. How fitting for this subgroup to be named “SEEN.”
